Isn’t that what life is all about? Finding out who you really are as a whole; everything good and everything bad. As I’ve been reading through the posts in my reader, it’s become evident to me that there is a general lull out there. A general feeling of sadness, defeat, and guilt. It is sad to see these posts, yet is so cathartic to see them. It’s amazing that the other blog owners out there feel comfortable to be able to open up their heart to everyone; to accept what others have to say, and to acknowledge that they are not alone.
Not everyone enjoys writing about the rough times in their life, nor does everyone like to truthfully face that feeling. It’s okay to feel that way; we’ve all been there and if we haven’t been there yet, it’s coming… it’s just a matter of when. Such is life… if we knew how it was all going to play out, what fun would that be?
I think in general the whole economic situation and recession is starting to effect moods. Some aren’t able to get jobs after being laid off, people are losing their houses, families are stuck living with other family members, etc. I know not everyone is hurting, and I am so very thankful to not have to be concerned right now… but, it’s getting to a point where enough is enough. I think we’ve hit rock bottom, and hopefully we’re on our way back up again – or at least sometime in 2009.
I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason; whether that is money situations, relationship situations, or our health. We all have a choice on how we are going to handle whatever is going on in our life. Some of us cry, some laugh, some get angry, some are silent and keep to themselves, some will write it all out, while some want to spend all of their what used to be alone time, with friends. We are all different, we all deal with joy and hurt in different ways.
It’s great to see just how different we all are and how we all can support each other in every situation since we all have our own views. When I try to explain blogging to people in real life who are not familiar with it, they don’t understand it at all… and until they get out here and meet all of the wonderful people supporting each other, they won’t understand.
Everyone really is amazing.

Awesome post. I think this really kinda sums up what has been going ‘around’. I also see that people are starting to pull up the bootstraps and get moving again too.
